In a surprising crossover event that challenges conventional expectations, the game developer has revealed an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

According to the official release, "A mysterious encounter pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where whispers of prohibited ceremonies and fearsome changes resonate through the darkness." The storyline introduces a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a secret group.

The adventure concentrates on "strange experiments and a monstrous adversary" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Changes

The trailer showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages.
